The channels are showing a video of Tausif. In the clip, Tausif is seen putting a black cap on his Hindu colleague Krishna. The news channels are presenting it like this: “Tausif was seen making a Hindu employee wear a cap before namaz.” However, it is clearly audible in the video that Tausif says: “This is a special cap brought from Rajasthan, for Krishna. He has come to our home for the first time, so we are honoring him. Eid Mubarak, brother.” Krishna also wishes him “Eid Mubarak.” They hug each other and sit together to eat sheer khurma.

The way the news channels are presenting this video suggests an intention to portray Muslims negatively.
